Sleep is dreamy with the Freefrom Pocket Coil Mattress! Just like the name suggests, this mattress is free from dangerous outgassing, flame retardant chemicals, and polyurethane foam. What it does have is natural and organic materials like GOTS certified organic cotton, natural Joma wool, organic cotton canvas, and natural Dunlop latex. The base of the mattress has individually-wrapped 8 inch pocket coils that provide stability and support. A 3 inch top layer of natural Dunlop latex in either soft, medium or firm allows for customizable pressure point relief and added luxury. For an even more incredible feel and extra breathability, you can upgrade to a soft layer of convoluted natural dunlop latex. These quality materials work together to provide a healthy, comfortable, free from worry sleeping option.

More about the Freefrom Pocket Coil Mattress

The mattress cover is made from a GOTS certified knit cotton quilted to two layers of natural Joma wool on the top, and organic cotton canvas quilted to one layer of Joma wool on the bottom.  The cover can zip off so you can see exactly what is inside of the mattress.

From the bottom up:
-This mattress starts with 1/4″ coconut coir (coconut fiber and natural latex) on the bottom to support the pocket coils.

-In the middle are 8″ tall individually wrapped metal coils with a coil count of 682.  The coils are individually wrapped in a non-woven polypropylene (the same material that is used to make yogurt cups), then covered in an organic cotton canvas.

-On top is a 3″ layer of natural latex encased in a GOTS certified organic cotton tricot fabric.  The top layer comes with a flat piece of 3″ latex in soft, medium, or firm.  You can either choose the same firmness level for both sides, or you can choose different firmness levels for each side of the mattress (for Queen and King size mattresses).  Alternatively you can choose a soft layer of convoluted latex as an upgrade.

Assembly

The Freefrom Pocket Coil mattress is shipped via UPS with the latex in a separate box from the coils.  To assemble, first you will lay out the coils which are already placed in the bottom portion of the mattress cover.  You will then place the layer of latex on top of the coils and zip the top cover on!

Comfort Guarantee

If the comfort level you choose is not exactly right, you can later purchase a new 3″ latex layer in a different firmness level.  For example, if you choose “firm” for your top 3″ layer, and after sleeping on the mattress for a while, you realize it is a bit too firm, you can purchase a new 3″ core in firmness level “medium” or “soft”.  This is not an exchange, so you get to keep both the new latex and the original latex in case you should ever need to switch it again. Comfort guarantees must take place within 3 months from purchase date.
