3 inch Middle Layer Firmness Level *

There are three firmness options: soft, medium, and firm. If you would like your firmness level to be different on each side, please choose, for example “Medium/Firm” for Medium on one side and Firm on the other. If you would like your firmness level to be the same on each side, please choose, for example, “Medium/Medium” for Medium on both sides (please note, you cannot choose different firmness levels for Twin or Full mattresses).

The Green Sleep Hevea Sogno

The Green Sleep Sogno mattress is made of 3 layers of natural rubber encased in a pure grow wool and cotton zip off casing. The bottom layer is a 1.5 inch firm layer. The middle layer is a 3 inch layer (choose soft, medium, or firm*). The top layer is a 2 inch layer of soft. This mattress is considered a firm mattress.

*Choosing “soft” for the middle layer is not recommended for people over 150 pounds. Even with a “soft” middle layer, this mattress is still on the firmer side. Please view our Green Sleep Hevea Dolcezza if you prefer a softer mattress.

**For the middle layer, you can choose different firmness levels for each of the two sleep zones (queen and king only).

Green Sleep Foundations : The S 300 and S 100

Support your mattress on a luxury Green Sleep foundation. Both the S 300 and S 100 are upholstered with organic cotton fabric and come with unfinished maple legs.

S 300 Foundation

The 7 inch S-300 European style foundation supports your mattress using wooden dowels suspended on the frame with flexible polymer anchors. As you lay on your mattress, the wood dowels flex downward to help provide superb pressure relief. Upholstered with organic cotton velour fabric. Can alternatively be upholstered in colored linen fabric, visit the S 300 page to order.

S 100 Foundation

The 7.5 inch S-100 Wood Slat Foundation supports your mattress using wooden slats upholstered with an organic cotton damask. Can alternatively be upholstered in colored linen fabric, please call to order, 1.866.663.0859.

Legs

Both the S 300 and the S 100 foundation come with unfinished wood legs, made of solid maple. The legs give you the option to use the foundation without a bed frame, as they attach to the foundation to make a stand alone bed base. Legs are not needed if used on a bed frame.

Wood used in all Green Sleep Foundations

The wood is untreated pure seasoned kiln-dried maple and poplar (in the S 300), and spruce (in the S 100); no synthetic glues, dyes, or finishing sprays are used in any stage of production.
