This product ships in a sturdy cardboard box secured with paper tape. We don't use plastic wrap or synthetic packing materials in the box. 

Sunning periodically will refresh and revitalize wool. Spot clean only. For extra protection, place a thin cotton blanket for an easy-to-wash top layer.
