The Talalay SerenitySpring mattress includes 8″ of individually-wrapped coils made from recycled steel and one 3″ layer of natural latex. It’s designed to be both comfortable and durable. We wanted to create an organic mattress option that was more affordable without sacrificing the benefits of customization. Like our Serenity and Tranquility mattresses, the SerenitySpring allows you to choose between Soft, Medium, and Firm layers of Talalay latex.
What sets this mattress apart though is the choice between Medium and Firm individually-wrapped coil units. Split individually-wrapped coils in Queen, King and CA King allow you and your partner to have individual configurations, catering to your specific needs. The SerenitySpring is covered in our certified organic mattress casing, with organic cotton and organic wool batting, a natural flame barrier that promotes a cool sleep.

Savvy Rest offers natural mattresses that are safe for your home and our planet. Here’s a closer look at the materials inside our SerenitySpring mattress:
Natural latex
True natural latex, without synthetic latex or fillers blended in, is simply natural foam rubber. We offer two different types of natural latex: Dunlop and Talalay. Talalay offers softness and gentle pressure-relief. Dunlop is denser and more supportive.
Our natural Talalay latex has been certified as Cradle to Cradle, GOLD, a measure of its health impact, level of material re-use, water stewardship, and social fairness. The latex is sourced from rubber tree plantations that adhere to sustainable forestry practices.
Certified organic wool
You’ll never find chemical flame retardants in our organic mattresses. Instead, we use GOTS-certified organic wool batting as a natural flame barrier. Wool also regulates temperature by promoting airflow, so it will not cause you to feel overheated at night.
Certified organic cotton
We stay away from cotton treated with pesticides since this is harmful to our bodies and the planet. Our mattress casings are made of unbleached, GOTS-certified organic cotton. When you see that GOTS logo, it means that material or overall product has met the most rigorous organic standard worldwide.
Individually-wrapped springs
The coils in our SerenitySpring mattress contour to your body’s curves and offer responsive support with a touch of gentle bounce. These cushioning springs are excellent at pressure point relief and are also incredibly breathable, giving you cool comfort you’ll love.
