Materials

Coyuchi uses 100% certified organic cotton in most of their products as well as a linen and organic cotton blend in certain products. Linen is a textile that is made from the fibers of a flax plant. The 100% organic cotton is sourced and woven in India and Portugal. The linen is grown in France and Belguim and woven in India. It is known for its natural luster, durability, and its ability to feel cool to the touch.

Washing Instructions

All of our organic cotton products are machine washable. We recommend machine washing on the gentle or delicate cycle with like colors, with cold water and a natural, plant based laundry detergent. We do not recommend using whiteners, as bleaching agents may diminish the brilliance and depth of the colors; when needed, use only non-chlorine bleach. Line dry, or tumble dry low and remove promptly. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles and are not recommended. Place a set of our wool dryer balls inside the dryer to naturally soften the fabric and reduce drying time. Use a warm iron as needed.

History of Coyuchi

Coyuchi has been making organic home textiles for the past 20 years. Founded in Point Reyes Station, a small coastal town in Northern California, Coyuchi is dedicated to producing organic and natural products that are healthy and safe for families to use. The Coyuchi 100% organic cotton is certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and are produced using fair-labor practices, verified by in-country auditors. Since Coyuchi’s founding in 1992 they have made beautiful organic cotton bedding, bath linens and baby items but have expanded by adding linen, cashmere and other pure, natural fibers. The lines that Coyuchi offer include bedding, bath, accents, nursery, pajamas and robes. We are happy to sell any Coyuchi products, even if not offered on our website, please contact us for a price quote.
