Organic GOTS certified wool batting is quilted in between a top layer of GOTS certified organic cotton fabric and a bottom layer of GOTS approved non-woven fabric.  Organic wool is used as a natural flame barrier and as an added benefit it provides unrivaled breathability, humidity control, and moisture wicking.  Wool assists the body’s natural temperature regulation process! In addition to being GOTS certified, the organic wool and organic cotton used by Harvest Green are also OEKO-TEX certified to have no harmful substances such as  allergenic dyes, pesticides, chlorinated phenols, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and chloro-organic carriers.

The top 2″ layer of the GOLS certified soft organic latex has an ILD of 14-19 and a deflection rating of D65 and is also eco-INSTITUT certified.

The pocket coil spring system is made by Leggett and Platt.  It has comfortable body support in the center and stronger edge support to eliminate the feeling of “roll-off” towards the sides. The springs are made from 17 gauge steel coils in the center and 16 gauge steel coils (thicker) for excellent edge support. The recycled steel coils are wrapped in a food grade polypropylene fabric which is non-woven and non-toxic.  The coils float individually which helps with proper spinal alignment and promotes good airflow for cooler sleep.

All of these materials are hand tufted with soft rosettes made from organic wool.  Hand tufting keeps all the materials in place and keeps them from shifting or bunching. On the sides of the mattress are classic handles to help move or flip your new mattress!

100 Night Trial Period

Your 100 night trial period begins on the date that your mattress is delivered. It often takes a few weeks for one’s body to adjust to a new sleeping surface, so we ask that you try it for at least 30 days. Between 30 and 100 days, you are welcome to return the mattress to us for a full refund.  The mattress must be in “like-new” condition with no stains, tears, odors or soiling.  We never resell any returned mattresses, all mattresses returned to us will be either donated or recycled.
