PLEASE NOTE: All of our removable zippered mattress covers can NOT be washed or dry cleaned as they contain wool, which will shrink if washed. Please spot clean only.

Shipping

When applicable, free shipping is only valid on products shipped within the continental US. Alaska and Hawaii will require an extra shipping charge. If you need your item(s) sooner, expedited shipping may be available, contact us for more information. In stock items typically ship within 1-2 business days.  Some exceptions may apply.  Items that are not kept in stock at The Natural Sleep Store often ship directly from the manufacturer.  Please see the “availability” section on each product page for “in stock” status and ship estimates.  Please contact us to receive a more exact shipping estimate for any product.

You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped, if applicable.  Please be sure email from sales@thenaturalsleepstore.com is not blocked.

Shipping Rates

Bedding items and crib mattresses ship via our choice of UPS, FedEx, or USPS.  Actual UPS rates are calculated in the shopping cart and during checkout.

All adult mattress (via UPS ground and/or freight company) and mattress topper shipping (via UPS Ground) is FREE to the continental USA up to $350. Shipping within the US is typically under $350 unless you live on an island, a remote area, or inner city area that freight companies charge extra fees to deliver to.  If shipping is over $350, you will be responsible to pay the difference in actual shipping rates.

Returns/Exchanges

Savvy Rest:

On the natural latex mattresses, there is a 90 day trial period.
It is as follows:
Exchanges: The manufacturer, Savvy Rest, Inc., allows you 90 days from the delivery date of your mattress to exchange individual pieces of latex. You must contact us before you return individual pieces of latex for a return authorization number.  You have two options.  One, you may order a new piece of latex and return the old piece of latex after you have received the new piece of
latex.  If you do this, we will charge your credit card for the new piece of latex and credit your account when we receive your return.  You will be fully reimbursed for the cost of the latex that you are returning, provided that the latex is still in excellent condition and has not been damaged in any way. Your obligation is to cover the cost of shipping to and from the manufacturer.  Two,  you may return the old piece of latex first and we will ship the new piece once we receive the old piece.

There is no exchange policy available for the Earthspring, Pastoral, or Savvy Rest furniture including bed frames and sofas.

Returns: We cannot accept returns on mattresses, bed frames, or sofas.
Defects: If there is a defect in the product, you will receive an exchange if the manufacturer determines there is a defect.  Please contact us immediately if there is any problem.  Chemical sensitivities to mattresses are NOT considered defects, and the manufacturer will not grant an exchange.  Please contact us for test materials if you are chemically sensitive.

Bella Sera Organics:

90 Day Comfort Guarantee: Customers can purchase up to two new layers of latex to replace and change the firmness of their current latex layer(s). Please contact customer service for more information and pricing.
Returns: We cannot accept returns on this mattress.
Defects: If there is a defect in the mattress, you will receive an exchange if the manufacturer determines there is a defect. Please contact us immediately if there is any problem. Chemical sensitivities to mattresses are NOT considered defects, and the manufacturer will not grant an exchange. Please contact us for test materials if you are chemically sensitive.

Green Sleep:

Exchanges: On our natural rubber mattresses by Green Sleep, you may change firmness levels by purchasing a new
plate at current pricing. Please call for current pricing info.  This comfort exchange must occur within 90 days after delivery.
Returns: We cannot accept returns on this mattress.
Defects: If there is a defect in the mattress, you will receive an exchange if the manufacturer determines there is a defect.  Please contact us immediately if there is any problem.  Chemical sensitivities to mattresses are NOT considered defects, and the manufacturer will not grant an exchange.  Please contact us for test materials if you are chemically sensitive.

Other mattresses and mattress toppers manufactured by Sleeptek, Suite Sleep, Pure Rest, Royal-Pedic, Naturepedic, Soaring Heart, Sleepy Sheep, Savvy Rest non-latex mattresses, Sleep and Beyond, or OMI:

Exchanges: On our Natural Rubber Mattresses, Natural Latex Mattresses, Organic Innerspring Mattresses, Organic Futon, and mattress toppers you have 30 days to request a one-time exchange for another Sleeptek, Suite Sleep, Pure Rest, Royal-Pedic, Naturepedic, Sleepy Sheep, Soaring Heart, Savvy Rest non-latex mattresses, Sleep and Beyond, or OMI mattress or mattress topper.  You will be required to pay a 25% restocking fee for the returned mattress or mattress topper, return shipping costs of the mattress you are exchanging, and actual shipping cost of the new mattress.
Returns: We cannot accept returns on these mattresses or mattress toppers.
Defects: If there is a defect in the mattress, you will receive an exchange ONLY if the manufacturer determines there is a defect.  Please contact us immediately if there is any problem.  Chemical sensitivities to mattresses are NOT considered defects, and the manufacturer will not grant an exchange.  Please contact us for test materials if you are chemically sensitive.

Returns on all Bed Frames, Bedding, and Baby items:

  • We cannot accept returns on crib mattresses.
  • We cannot accept returns on any used products.
  • On bedding and baby items that are unused and unopened, we can accept returns within 30 days from when you received the product.  Once we have received the item, we will refund you the cost of the product.  Shipping is not refundable.
  • On any opened and unused items, we will accept returns within 30 days from when you received the product for in store credit only.  Item must be in original packaging and in brand new condition.  Shipping is not refundable.

If you do need to make a return, please contact us first for a return authorization and a shipping address (the address the item shipped from may not be the same address you will ship a return to). We suggest that you ship via a method that has tracking info and/or delivery confirmation.

Privacy Policy

Sometimes our products ship directly from the manufacturer (e.g. mattresses).  If this is the case, we provide the manufacturer with your name and shipping address.  Aside from this, we will not share or sell your information with anyone.
