Pure Rest Wool Moisture Pad Review and May Giveaway

An organic cotton mattress pad is essential for protecting your organic mattress from everyday dirt and sweat; but there are many occasions when a mattress requires more water-resistant protection than just a simple cotton mattress pad can provide.  A natural or organic wool moisture pad, layered with an organic cotton mattress pad is what we recommend to protect your organic mattress, especially when kids or pets are involved.

The Pure Rest Wool Moisture Pad is made from tightly woven natural wool. It is moisture resistant, dust mite resistant and naturally flame retardant. It is chemical-free and a natural alternative to plastic or vinyl mattress protectors.

I am a big fan of wool moisture pads! I love that there is a product that is all natural and works so well. I have been using these pads on different beds in my house for the last seven years. The tight weave of the wool moisture pad provides a great barrier for wetness, especially when combined with a cotton mattress pad. I’ve had them in the crib, on the first big-kid bed, and on my own bed for times when little kids crawl in bed with me. Never once has an accident soaked through the wool moisture pad and cotton mattress pad layers and onto the mattress. There are a lot of pseudo-natural products out there that are completely waterproof, but I’m hard-core when it comes to wanting all clean and organic products, especially on the beds in my home.

I have had great results using a wool moisture pad for child related leaks and accidents, but we have a lot of customers who use it to guard their mattress from moisture and/or for pet related accidents.
